Zombie Take-Out Episode 335: Sam, You Did It

Paris, Texas Scotto and Uncle John pay tribute to the late, great Harry Dean Stanton by discussing a two and a half hour film that has no plot, no action and began filming before the script was completed, but could easily be the best movie that they've reviewed in over eight years. This week on Zombie Take-Out, from 1984, Paris, Texas. Would the film have worked without such a great writer and cast? Could anything have been cut from it? Is it Nastassja Kinski's best work? Why was Anne flirting with Travis? Did Travis have OCD? Was Hunter more an adult than his father? Rest in peace, Mr. Stanton.

Zombie Take-Out Episode 334: Where in the World is MacGuffin Jr.?

Sharknado 5: Global Swarming
Scotto and Uncle John discuss the latest in a series of science fiction, disaster parody movies that have been taking a bite out of every summer since 2013. This week on Zombie Take-Out, from 2017, Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. Was the plot too thin? Does a Sharknado movie even need a plot? Who had the best cameo? Is it possible to even recognize all of the cameos at this point? Should Greg Louganis and Jeffery Combs do a movie together? Semper paratus.

Zombie Take-Out Episode 333: Based on a Song by Dead Kennedys

Surf Nazis Must Die Scotto and Uncle John sort of return to the world of Troma and subtly comment on recent events by discussing a film that mixes surfing, World War II, The Warriors and maybe even a bit of West Side Story. This week on Zombie Take-Out, from 1987, Surf Nazis Must Die. Were there too many surfing montages? Was she his mother or his grandmother? Why was Adolph's mustache so big?

Zombie Take-Out Episode 332: Apocalypse Fowl

A Breed Apart Scotto and Uncle John pay tribute to the late, great Powers Boothe by discussing a movie that has a great cast, a complicated plot and a missing reel. This week on Zombie Take-Out, from 1984, A Breed Apart. Why didn't the movie get more press? Was it more inspired by a Monty Python sketch or Apocalypse Now. Does it seem more '70s than '80s? What happens to an egg collection over time?

Zombie Take-Out Episode 331: Where In the World is Leisure Suit Larry

Moonraker Scotto and Uncle John pay tribute to the late, great Roger Moore by discussing one of the few Bond films that really fits into their wheelhouse. This week on Zombie Take-Out, from 1979, Moonraker. Does it seem like it was made in the 1960s? Was the skydiving fight real? Why did Drax have a generic European accent? How could a 50 year old Roger Moore be a ladies man?
