Zombie Take-Out Episode 325: Zombienado

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter Scotto and Uncle John return, after a year and a half, to one of the most infamous franchises in both cinematic and video game history to have a very similar conversation to the last time they discussed one of these movies. Shouldn't they have learned by now? This week on Zombie Take-Out, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. Is it really the last movie of the series? Could it possibly be boring? Shouldn't Scotto know better by now than to expect a Resident Evil movie to be good?

Zombie Take-Out Episode 324: Cliches Behind Bars

Caged Heat Scotto and Uncle John pay tribute to the late, great Jonathan Demme by discussing his directorial debut, a women in prison film that tries to do things a little differently, but also falls back on a lot of cliches and shower scenes ... lots and lots of shower scenes. This week on Zombie Take-Out, from 1974, Caged Heat. What was the point of all of the weird audio cues? Were the exploding pickle jars intended to be an innuendo? Should the warden have had a German accent? Were there too many shower scenes? Could there ever possibly be too many shower scenes? Rest in peace, Mr. Demme.

Zombie Take-Out Episode 323: My Favorite Joanie on Elm Street

Galaxy of Terror Scotto and Uncle John pay tribute to the late Erin Moran by discussing a movie that they already had on their list. A science fiction film that mixes torturous mediocrity with some of the most batshit insane scenes that they have ever seen on screen. This week on Zombie Take-Out, from 2001, Galaxy of Terror. Are there any cliches that weren't included? Did it influence Aliens and Evil Dead? Is Erin Moran's last scene the performance of her career? Did Sid Haig make the right choice? Should Zalman King have stuck to acting? RIP, Ms. Moran.

Zombie Take-Out Episode 322: Bela Lugosi's Drag Race

Glen or Glenda Scotto and Uncle John conclude their moral panic trilogy by returning to the world of Ed Wood to discuss his second most infamous film. This week on Zombie Take-Out, from 1953, Glen or Glenda. Was the movie for or against transvestism? Was it better than Plan 9 fro Outer Space? Was Bela Lugosi's character supposed to be God? Beware the green dragon!

Zombie Take-Out Episode 321: D.A.R.E. To Be Stupid

Reefer Madness Scotto and Uncle John continue their moral panic trilogy by discussing a classic b-movie that is so notoriously bad that it was first mocked just a few years after it was released. This week on Zombie Take-Out, from 1936 or 1938 or 1939, Reefer Madness. Is it a better unintentional comedy than The Room? Does a place of ill repute need prostitution? Where was the public defender? What was up with the sudden, random eyes? Hahahahahahahahaha!
